Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from ATI

If you've ever wondered where the shirts you donate end up, sometimes they end up in Haiti. Most people there wearing donated clothes with English phrases don't know what is written on their chests. I enjoy seeing what's written on our kids' shirts;  it often brings a smile to my face. I'm 100% here for the way this message is driven home by a girl surrounded by her schoolmates, looking at the camera with a matter-of-fact expression.

Enjoy the pictures below. Because of your generosity, we're able to provide these kids with a safe place to learn and grow; so much so that Piton has become a safe refuge for victims of gang violence in Port-au-Prince. What a testament to the hospitality and generosity of the people of Piton and Piton West!

Wishing you peace throughout this holiday season!

Grateful for you,

Katherine

Each one of you is part of the body of Christ,
and you were chosen to live together in peace.

So let the peace that comes from Christ control your thoughts.
And be grateful.

Imagine. Air, hot and sticky and thick. A home made of crude concrete blocks, crumbly and rough. Windows made of uncovered holes in the wall, or of decorative brick that allow little air to flow through.
